Character Sketch Template
When developing your five paragraph essay, make sure you take the following into consideration: vary
your sentence structure, use complex sentences, include specific and detailed descriptions, have a
minimum of five transitional words or phrases, and, finally, have a minimum of 8 vocabulary words.
Don’t use bland and confusing words (10 points will be taken off for any confused word errors). Your
essay should be in first person POV and your character should be round and dynamic.
Introduction
This paragraph must include a description of your character’s place of birth, parents, siblings, early life,
and adolescent years. Include where your character grew up, their interests, their family, and their
education.
