I want the children have plenty of time to work on completing their science fair project. IMPORTANT REMINDERS: November 10—Chick Fil A Night November 11th—Holiday November 16th- Science Fair Projects due. November 18th- Meteorologist Visits 5th grade. November 19th- Science Fair Projects on display & winner announced 6:00-6:30 pm. This week in School: Math: Dividing decimals. Reading: We are reading leveled passages on Veteran’s Day in guided reading groups. Skill: Sequence of events, drawing conclusions from text. Grammar lesson: subject-verb agreement. Writing: The children will be working on a Revolutionary War webquest and writing a friendly letter to a Veteran. Social Studies: We will be learning about the thirteen colonies after the Revolutionary War. This week’s states we are learning about are: Massachusetts Michigan Minnesota Mississippi Missouri Homework for week of 11-9-2015 Work on Science Fair Project. I can’t wait to see them.
