Classroom Needs: Glue Sticks and hand sanitizer. This week in School: Math: We will begin our unit on fractions. This week we are learning how to add and subtract fractions with common denominators and uncommon denominators. Reading: Our story of the week is Passage to Freedom from our reading book. We will also be reading leveled readers to go along with the story in guided reading groups. Skill: Authors purpose. Grammar lesson: possessive nouns Writing: Revolutionary War topic probe will be due on Friday, December 4th, 2015. Science: This week we are learning about the skeletal and muscular system.
