Inference vs Observations
Inference – an assumption, judgement, or opinion of something that happened.
Observation – a quality that you can actually see or examine using your senses.
There a two types of observations:

Qualitative – observation that is based on size, shape, color, etc.

Quantitative – observation that is measureable
Metric Measurement
In science class, we will be using the Metric System. The metric system is
a system of measurement that is used by scientists all over the world. Most
countries only use the metric system. In the United States, we use the
English System.
