Class Expectations



Be prepared. Come to class with all of your materials.
Be respectful! Treat your teacher, peers and yourself with respect.
You are expected to abide by the Briar Woods honor code, as well as all policies and
procedures outlined in the student agenda while in class.

Homework
 Homework will be checked each class period after it is assigned and graded for
completion. It is important to attempt each problem!
Quizzes & Tests
 Quizzes and Tests will be announced in advance.
 There will be an in class review of material the class before a quiz or test.
 There are no retakes of quizzes or tests.
Attendance
 Missed work should be made up promptly; otherwise you will fall further behind.
 If you are absent on the day of a quiz/test, it is your responsibility to see me and
schedule a time to make-up the assignment.
Grading: Each quarter grade will be calculated using Total Points Earned/Total Points
Available. Grades will be entered in to the Phoenix gradebook as soon as possible.
