1884- So joyed to be able to have the pleasure of
getting to marry my beautiful fiancé @Helen Pitts
today! So glad we could but our differences aside and
love each other for who we are.
1883- Thankful for my job as the Recorder of Deeds and
fellow workers that support me that work in the office
along with me! At- Washington, DC

1882- Keep my family in your and prayers as we mourn the
passing of a great and beautiful woman, Anna. We were
married for 44 wonderful years and I will never forget you!
December 13, 1865- Today is great day for our country! Thirteenth
Amendment was passed, banning slavery FOREVER! Hard work
pays off! Praise the lord for this joyous day!

Star. Congrats, my hard working husband!
1847- Glad to return to the great United States of America
today. Had a great time in England and Ireland, though, and
happy to spread the word of abolitionism!
1845- After years of hard work and writing I am so joyed to say
my first book, “Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass”,
published today!
