Miss Taylor’s Monday Memo August 31, 2015 Great to meet you! Homework Thank you so much to all the families who attended Back to School Night and Open House. I enjoyed getting to meet each of you and am looking forward to a great year working together! Please encourage your child to take responsibility and ask you to sign their agenda book each night. In addition to any homework sheets assigned, students should be reading each night. Thank you for your support and helping your child get into the homework routine! Please complete and return the First Day Folder (in the Monday folder). What’s happening this week Reading – We will be focusing on choosing a “good fit” book and exploring the class library. Students will also work on an All About Me “Selfie” Project. We will also begin DRA tests. Math – We will begin our graphing unit and focus on pictographs, bar graphs, and line plots.
