Problem Sets
2015 – 2016
Problem sets are due according to the schedule below.
You may work together on problem sets, or you may come in early before school and ask the
teacher for help. Use your textbook and notes to help you.
ALL WORK MUST BE SHOWN, or you will receive no credit!
Students are not allowed to ask for help on the day the problem set is due!!! Students
also must have work to show the teacher before asking for help (show that you tried).
The primary purpose of the problem sets is to reinforce the spiral approach of mathematics,
reviewing material learned last year, last month, last week, and to prepare for the upcoming
SOL.
You may turn in problem sets early for 2 points extra credit! Early means at least 1 day early.
So if a problem set is due Thursday, turning it in Tuesday or Wednesday would give you 2
points extra credit!
7
No extra credit will be given if you do not score
. Check your answers – accuracy is VERY
10
important!
You may make corrections and turn in problem sets for a re-grade, but all work MUST be
shown. Scores may increase to the maximum of 80%. There is a one-week time limit for
redos on problem sets from the time the problem set is passed back.
