Problem Sets Algebra 1 2nd Quarter 2015 – 2016 Problem sets are due according to the schedule below. You may work together on problem sets, or you may come in early before school and ask the teacher for help. Use your textbook and notes to help you. ALL WORK MUST BE SHOWN, or you will receive no credit! Students are not allowed to ask for help on the day the problem set is due!!! Students also must have work to show the teacher before asking for help (show that you tried). Algebra 1 problem sets are accepted late for credit – but will lose points for being late. If you are absent the day they are due, you must turn it in the first day you are back in class! The primary purpose of the problem sets is to reinforce the spiral approach of mathematics, reviewing material learned last year, last month, last week, and to prepare for the upcoming SOL. You may turn in problem sets early for 2 points extra credit! Early means at least 1 day early. So if a problem set is due Thursday, turning it in Tuesday or Wednesday would give you 2 points extra credit! 7 No extra credit will be given if you do not score . Check your answers – accuracy is VERY 10 important! Problem Set # Due Dates – A Days Due Dates – B Days 1 Tuesday, November 17th Wednesday, November 18th 2 Tuesday, December 8th Wednesday, December 9th 3 Tuesday, January 5th Wednesday, January 6th 4 Wednesday, January 20th Thursday, January 21st REMEMBER – Problem sets are due at the beginning of class! In case of inclement weather and we miss school, problem sets are due the day we return to class. Problem sets are not allowed to be turned in late.
