Presidential Mural:
Each group will be assigned a president to study
in more detail. Read the biography of your
president and discuss his most important
achievements.
Begin creating your mural:
A mural tells a story through pictures. Create a
design using pictures and symbols to show who
your president was, his accomplishments, and
what was happening in the United States during
his presidency.
Steps to completing your mural:
1. Read the biography about your person
2. Brainstorm things about your president and
major events/accomplishments of his
presidency
3. Plan mural on scrap paper (get scrap paper
from art corner!)
4. Begin mural (finish as much as you can, you
will have some time next class!)
