Materials: Create individual cards that have, on one side the names of various mathematical properties. On the other side of the individual card, write a mathematical problem that would correspond with that property name. Create as many as you would like. Directions: 1. Show student one card with the mathematical problem. 2. Ask student to name the property displayed. 3. Continue through the stack of cards, making a notation of the cards the student names correctly and incorrectly. Variation: Use the Drill Sandwich as a further intervention to help students master those properties that seem to give them more trouble than the others.
