Texts will be assigned randomly using a lottery system using the major texts we have read in class. You will present your
soundtrack/art show (as scheduled) either on the last day of class or during the final exam in a presentation that must
be four to five minutes. The presentation should be formal and created in power point or another presentation
software to be professional and well-organized. Please review the rubric carefully to ensure you follow all directions.
1.
You will prepare a soundtrack for your final exam based on a major class text. If your text already has a
movie, you MAY NOT incorporate songs from the existing soundtrack. Should you choose to include songs
from the existing soundtrack, you will receive a 10% reduction in grade.
OR
2.
An alternative to creating a soundtrack is to create a power point using 9-12 pieces of artwork (create an
art gallery to represent portions of your text) with the same format (power point with a piece of art featured
on each slide) and the explanation discussing why the selected pieces of art depict portions of the text.
