WHAT CAUSES MAGNETISM?

Permanent magnet-contains iron bearing materials and is always a magnet
WHAT IS AN ELECTROMAGNET?
An electromagnet is a temporary magnet created when a current flows through wires
wrapped around a bar.
Electromagnet-is a magnet created with an electric current. It can be turned off and on.
WHO WAS MICHAEL FARADAY AND WHAT DID HE CONTRIBUTE?
Michael Faraday invented the electro magnet. Remember that an
electromagnet can be turned on and off.
WHAT IS A MAGNETIC FIELD?
It is the region of magnetic force around a magnet.
WHAT ARE MAGNETIC POLES?
Magnets have two ends. These ends are called poles.
