Students will complete Science labs to determine unknown substances (cleaners). the acids and bases of these materials., Students will publicize information to share with the local community either at a local town meeting or thru LCPS website. Raise awareness of how our actions effect our local environment. Driving Question How do my actions effect the local watershed? (Goose Creek, Potomac River, Shenandoah River) Entry Event Slideshow/Video of local area water sources showing how contamination effects our local watershed. Possible guest speaker from Bay Foundation or Loudoun Water. Products Individual 1.Research of local Specific content and watershed contamination 2.
