Curriculum Web and Lesson Plan




CHOOSE a children’s literature book from the preschool library books, classroom books,
or choose one of your own favorite children’s books.
Create a Curriculum Web with lesson ideas in each of the curriculum areas. Explain the
lesson idea fully – add a small sketch.
Choose one of your lesson ideas from the Curriculum Web and write a complete Lesson
Plan for teaching this lesson. Remember to choose specific objectives and that Check for
Objectives must match these specific objectives.
You will explain your lesson idea to the class. (Short presentation- 3 minutes.)
1) Curriculum Web worksheet – may be neatly hand-written, 50 points
2) Lesson plan – must be typed – 40 points
3) Presentation – 15 points
 Book Title, Author, Illustrator
 Fiction? Non-fiction?
 Brief description of your chosen lesson
4) Your project is due the end of class, before the presentation block. -25
points for late projects (if any component is late).
