Mission: The Celeste Henkel Community will motivate all students to become 21st century learners and reach their individual potentials by
differentiating instruction, building relationships, and supporting each other.
School Improvement Plan Summary
Our focus area is: EC Reading and Math
Overall goal (What we want to accomplish by the end of the second year.) EC students will exceed the growth of the grade level average
based on 3-5 reading and math EOG and K-3 MClass data.
Target goal (What we want to accomplish this year.) Increase EC proficiency on 3rd - 5th grade EOG. Increase number of words than
more than the grade level average on MClass.
Approaches/Strategies (What we will do to realize our goal.) Continue inclusion in reading in 5th grades. Continue AIMs Web
assessments for reading fluency and MAZE for comprehension. Implement Moby Max for reading and math interventions.
Execute math and reading hornet times with fidelity.
Measures; we will use to monitor our progress toward reaching our goal:
Performance/Impact: BA’s, AIMs Web, M-Class, Moby Max, STAR Reader, AR
Fidelity of implementation: Walk-throughs; progress monitor checks for hornet times
During the 90 day cycle time for cycle 1 and 2 we will revisit/monitor our plan two times monthly during goal team meetings.
