Leader in Me PD/strategies, MTSS PD/ clear processes, and RtI PD/academic implementation help staff have a basic understanding. Leader in Me Year 2 PD led to deeper understanding by staff. Classrooms with higher authentic engagement and student leadership culture/community are outperforming peers. Student mentor program led to success for some of most frequent office fliers from past. 3. What are opportunities for improvement, gap or barriers are in this area? Several new staff need initial training. Gap in school wide alignment and ownership at all levels. 4. What seems to be the root cause of the problem and what data suggests this? Staff turnover in the past led to the need to retrain all staff in order to rekindle LiM community amongst staff, as well as unified understanding.
