Here’s what’s happening in our class the week of April 18, 2016:
Reading-Students will start their independent Newbery Book Reports and
guided reading groups will practice making inferences in fiction readers
and supporting their opinions with text evidence.
Language-Students are working on writing poetry and then will start writing
stories.
Social Studies- In social studies will start our unit on the Civil War.
Math-We are working on measurement by learning metric and standard
units for weight, mass, and capacity. We will have a Weight/Mass Quiz on
Friday. There will be a computation quiz this week, too.

Virginia History (password is LIES). Students should always return their blue
