TH ADULT LOOKS LIKE A REGULAR SQUID BUT SHRUNKEN AND WITH A PURPLISH BLUISH BLACKISH EYE AND A BIG MOUTH. THE SQUID GROWS VERY SLOWLY NEARLY TWICE A YEAR THEY GET BIGGER. Animal Interactions THE VAMPIRE SQUID PROTECTS ITSELF BY TURNING INSIDE OUT TO AVOID THEIR ONE PREDATOR. THE SQUID TALKS AND COMMUNICATES BY SPRAYING A LINE OF MUCUS TO COMMUNICATE TO OTHERS.
