new chapter books, and literature circles.
Word Study –No words this week
Writing – Last week to record their presentations.
Math – Fraction Unit review week test this Thursday!
VA Studies – Moving Westward / Start our Plant unit for our One To The World project
April Calendar:
The Third Quarter Reading Log will be due on or before April 14th.
-Reminders1. The end of the grading period is this Thursday, April 14th.
2. Multicultural Night is tomorrow night from 7-8. Students can wear something
representing their culture tomorrow for our “parade” right after morning
announcements.
3. Please encourage your child to continue the Reflex Math program and Dreambox at
home.
4. We are looking forward to our field trip next Wednesday to Mount Vernon! Our 4
parent chaperones should be here by 7:45 so we can review our groups, schedule,
and expectations on our trip. Students should dress comfortably for walking and
bring a bag lunch (no glass).
5. We are completely out of tissues! If your child has allergies or has had a cold
recently, could you please send in another large box for us? Thanks!
