Peer Educator First Year Seminar (PE100) Application Packet Fall 2016 PLEASE RETURN APPLICATIONS TO: Brenda Kozsan, Associate Head of School By mail at CU BOX 5650 or Email bkozsan@clarkson.edu or In person at The Clarkson School/Honors Program office, 2nd floor Price Hall DEADLINE FOR COMPLETED APPLICATIONS IS Friday, February 26, 2016 PEER EDUCATOR – The Clarkson School JOB DESCRIPTION & BENEFITS Job Description of Peer Educators: Serve as a role model for first year Clarkson School students in PE100 Assist Clarkson School students with the understanding of team work skills Disseminate appropriate paperwork and other information to the students Facilitate and engage a group of 6-8 Clarkson School students in class activities Assist guest speakers and Coordinator with the facilitation of the class Provide feedback to guest speakers and coordinator to enhance PE100 Adhere to the class guidelines as outlined in the FYS class Understand and be prepared for PE100 activities each week Participate in the evaluation process of Clarkson School students Attend mandatory weekly meetings with the Coordinator Attend training sessions Attend orientation meeting prior to the first class in the semester Work with other peer educators on various projects Other duties related to peer education Benefits of Being a Peer Educator: You will earn money!
