JOB DESCRIPTION & BENEFITS
Job Description of Peer Educators:
 Serve as a role model for first year Clarkson School students in PE100
 Assist Clarkson School students with the understanding of team work skills
 Disseminate appropriate paperwork and other information to the students
 Facilitate and engage a group of 6-8 Clarkson School students in class activities
 Assist guest speakers and Coordinator with the facilitation of the class
 Provide feedback to guest speakers and coordinator to enhance PE100
 Adhere to the class guidelines as outlined in the FYS class
 Understand and be prepared for PE100 activities each week
 Participate in the evaluation process of Clarkson School students
 Attend mandatory weekly meetings with the Coordinator
 Attend training sessions
 Attend orientation meeting prior to the first class in the semester
 Work with other peer educators on various projects
 Other duties related to peer education

Minimum Qualifications:
 GPA of 2.5 or higher
 Exhibit strong interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications:
 Current Clarkson School student or an alum of The Clarkson School
 Have had mentor/leadership experience
