1)Formula Poem About You and A Cartoon Character

“I wish + name of cartoon character +name of place and a color
EXAMPLE I wish I was Sponge Bob so that I could swim to the Bahamas and look at the
cool blue sky.
2) 7 Line Found Poem –


Locate 7 quotes from online sources, magazines, song lyrics etc)
Arrange the lines so that they form a 7 line poem on a given topic of your choice
3)Cinquain 5- line poem about freshmen year





Line 1 contains the name of a thing
Line 2 - two words describing the (person, place thing) in line 1
Line 3 - three words describing an action related to the (person, place, thing) in line 1
Line 4 – four words expressing a feeling about the person, place or thing in line 1
Line 5 – five words that sum up the entire poem
4) Haiku – Also On FRESHMEN year (see attached examples)
