American Education Week
Dear Parents,
American Education Week is this week. Third grade’s celebration
day is Thursday. We will enjoy a music presentation with Mrs. Stillman
and play math games in the classroom. I would like to invite you all to
visit with us Thursday, November 19, 2015. We will have parent
visitation beginning 10:00. We begin with the music presentation, then
we will return to the classroom for math games. After that, you may eat
lunch with your child in the cafeteria.
Our Schedule:
10:00-10:15 Music presentation
10:15-11:00 Math games
11:00-11:30 lunch

We are finishing our unit on matter on Friday, November 20. Please review the
matter study guide with your child prior to the test on Friday. The matter study guide
was sent home with the November 9 newsletter.
Word Study
Since next week, the week of November 23, is a 2-day school week, we will
not begin a new Word Study unit. Our next Word Study unit will begin on Monday,
November 30.
I will not be sending home a newsletter next week. I
hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!
