On Friday,
October 30, our class
will be having a book bash! Children
will decorate a paper plate at home to
resemble their favorite storybook
character. The plate can include an
important setting or event in the story.
To create their character plate, students
may use: feathers, beads, paint,
crayons, markers, yarn, macaroni
noodles, cereal or anything else you
can think of. In class, on October 30th,
students will talk about and discuss
their character. Children will do a
small presentation describing who their
character is and why they chose the
character they chose. Please have
students fill out the Book Bash! page to
aid them in presenting their character.
