Future Writers:
In this station you will travel back in time, how far back is up to you, and help those from the
past see the technology that is used in the present. The essay should be written in terms that
people from the past can understand. Words like Ipod, Iphone, GB, texting, touch screen, etc.
did not exist. You must be able to explain what those items are in terms that your audience will
know.



The essay should include and Introduction, three supporting paragraphs of the use of
technology, and a conclusion.
o Remember to brainstorm and edit your essay to insure there are no grammatical
errors.
Be sure to include the year you are visiting to explain the future.
This station will be graded for creation, completion, content flow, and punctuation.
Materials:



Laptop (use Microsoft Word)
Internet access to send final copy
Most importantly the right side of your brain (technically you can’t split your brain in
two but you will be using more of the right than the left  )
