THE INDISPENSABILITY OF VIRTUE SCHOLARSHIP - 1 @ $2,000 - 2ND & 3RD TBD AS AVAILABLE FUNDS ALLOW The Community Levee Association Indispensability of Virtue scholarship encourages youth to think critically about virtues and their necessity for social order. This $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior in June of 2016, by a member of the CLA scholarship committee. Additional monetary prizes may be awarded as funding allows. The Community Levee Association of Loudoun County champions the indispensability of virtue to the American experience in self-government. Criteria: Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior based on an essay contest. Applicants must respond to the specific 2015-2016 writing prompt, which follows, and can be found at: www.communitylevee.org. Submit an essay of between 500 and 1,000 words, in 12 point font and in PDF Prompt: In his Farewell Address, George Washington stated that “Religion and Morality are indispensable supports” to the country.
