Please put a check by your volunteer interest(s) and return this form to school (Attn PTO): ___ Before and After School Clubs and Activities – Provide support for various enrichment clubs and activities; Help supervise students, communicate with parents and staff, or work with staff sponsor. ___ Hospitality – Show appreciation to teachers and staff via events and luncheons. Donate food and/or grocery store cards, bake, decorate, or help at events held at school throughout the year. ___ House Coordinators & Assistants – 6th/7th/8th - Support your child’s grade by helping the Deans and Secretaries. Circle Grade 6th 7th 8th ___ Copy Help – Support your child’s grade by making copies as requested by teachers. Please indicate availability Circle Day(s) of Availability for Copy Help: Tuesday and/or Thursday Circle Grade 6th 7th 8th ___ IMC - Attend a training session at the School Administration building to learn how to make posters, laminate, make cut-outs, etc. Then help teachers/staff with projects throughout the year. ___ International Night – A cultural evening that features food, dance, and other cultural traditions. Volunteers are needed to make this a night to remember. ___ Library – Assist the Librarian with shelving books during school hours. Also need help with Book Fair in March (Exact dates TBD). ___ LEAP – Loudoun Education Alliance of Parents. Need a volunteer/s to attend monthly meetings held on the Second Wednesday of each month from 7 to 9pm. Meetings held at LCPS Administrative Offices. More information is available on PTO page. ___ Front Office – Morning and afternoon shifts available. Work in the Front Office answering phones and providing support to the office staff as necessary. ___ Minority Student Achievement Advisory Committee – Represent Belmont Ridge on County advisory committee. Attend monthly meetings held on the third Wednesday of each month from 7 to 9pm. Meetings held at LCPS Administrative Offices. More information is available on PTO page. ___ School Musical –This event involves many students – as performers, backstage support, and audience members. There are volunteer opportunities suited for everyone’s talents and schedules. ___ School Store – Need volunteers to staff store Monday – Friday from 8:15-8:40 am. Store offers supplies and spirit wear for students. (Several volunteers needed.) ___ Spirit Events Committee Help plan events to build our school community – Nights at restaurants, Ice House, etc. ___ Student Dances – Daytime helpers needed to assist in planning, set up, and chaperone coordination. ___ Talent Show – Provide support for afternoon rehearsals, as well as promotion and concessions. ___ 8th grade Year-end Celebration – 8th grade parents – send your kids off to High School on a high note. Help Student’s celebrate the completion of Middle School at the end of the school year. Committee members help with planning venue, music, activities and food. Fundraising and decorating help is also needed.
