Back to School Reminders:
Entering the Building
- When you come to visit, pickup, or drop-off your child you
will need a Photo ID to enter
the building. Please then
proceed to the office to sign in.
Birthday
- Birthday treats
(food/gifts/goodie bags) are
not allowed.
- Invitations may not be sent
home via school unless whole
class is invited.
Last Minute Updates/Emergencies
- Please do not email about any
last minute changes or
emergencies. Contact the front
office or send a note with your
child so we can make sure it is
addressed.
Recess
- Weather permitting we will be
going outside to the courtyard
during the day for recess.
Please make sure that your
child is dressed appropriately
for the weather.

Teacher News:
Welcome to Forest Grove! We are looking forward to a great school
year! Mrs. Parvin and I are excited about working with you and your
child this year to support their learning. Thank you for taking the
time to come visit our classroom during Open House, we enjoyed
meeting you and your family. Throughout the month you will be
getting information about our schedule, what we’re working on, and
what to look forward to.
Communication:
Folders
- Folders will be sent home with your child in their backpacks
with any important papers or information, please make
sure to return papers, as needed.
Communication Notebook
- These will go home with your child everyday with the daily
information sheet that outlines what your child did that
day. Please feel free to write back any questions/comments
in the binder.
- This is the best way to communicate any small changes
with me!
Home Visits

We will have a monthly meeting to discuss your child’s progress
and to work to address any concerns. I will give you tips of things
that you can work on at home with your child.

We are going to start the school year off with our Chicka, Chicka,
Boom, Boom theme. We will be reading the book, doing various art
projects, and trying new learning activities related to the book.
