ASCWU-BOD Prohibited Activities List Effective as of 1/20/2009 no ASCWU-BOD entity, organization or club may participate in the below listed activities: Assault and Battery, Corporal Punishment, Abuse/Molestation, Asbestos, Discrimination, Nuclear Energy, Total Pollution, Total Fireworks/Pyrotechnics, Employment Related Practices, Organic Pathogens, Punitive Damages, War, Lead Liability, Stunt Activity, Use of Trampolines, Use of Saunas or Tanning Devices, Polo, Skin and Scuba Diving, Squash, Snow Skiing, Water Skiing, Whitewater Rafting, Bungee Jumping, Mountain Climbing, Rock Climbing, Motorsports, Rodeo or any Equestrian Related Sports, Waterslides, Ballooning, Parachute Jumping, Luge, Tobogganing, Gymnastics, Mechanical Bull Riding Devices, Hazing, Greek Life, Poisonous/Hazardous Chemicals and Materials, Swimming, Reckless Driving, Warlike Activities, Weapons Development and Paintballing. In addition: Failure to Abide by any and all CWU, State, Local and Federal Regulations or the Consumption of Alcohol/Drugs during meetings, events, ect. Student safety is a top priority for the ASCWU Board of Directors. Participation in the above named activities present notable risk to the safety of student participants and financial responsibility of the Associated Students. These activities are strictly prohibited unless specific approval has been granted in writing by the Board of Directors via the “Exception Request”. Any violations will be subject to loss of organization recognition for the remainder of the academic year upon a majority vote by the ASCWU Board of Directors.
