Attendance Certification Overview For Student Payroll How is the Attendance Certification Report used for Student Payroll? • Most Student Payroll is processed through the PeopleSoft Time and Labor process, but there are a few instances where that process cannot be used: o International Students – 1868 o Summer Bridge Students – 1874 & 1875 o Instructional Student Assistants (ISA) – 1150 & 1151 • In these cases the Attendance Certification Report should be run for Hourly/Intermittent and the time sheets submitted to Payroll attached to the Attendance Certification Report by the Student Time deadlines on the campus calendar. Steps to submit Hourly/Intermittent Attendance Certification? • All time for a pay period needs to be reported on the Attendance Certification Report. o Be careful to enter the time in pen and that it is on the appropriate line, Empl Rcd #, for the student. o Attach timesheets to the Attendance Certification Report in the same order that the students appear on the report. o Do not sign the Attendance Certification Report (that signature will happen in the payroll office). o Student time is due to the payroll office on the first work day of the new pay period. o Student pay periods are the same as Staff and Faculty pay periods and can be found on the Faculty and Staff Calendar for the appropriate Fiscal Year. ▪ Faculty and Staff Calendar 2015/2016 Student Attendance Certification Overview Created: 8/17/2015
