VISION 2012: Centralia College will be recognized as the best community college in the State of
Washington. The college will be a driving force in the local economy and be the intellectual heart and
cultural soul of the community.

Jose Diaz chaired Latino Youth Summit (LYS);
LYS held on campus;
Held second annual Gay Pride event
The College was a major sponsor of the second annual
Washington Hispanic Festival. In conjunction with the
Festival, Chris and Candi were responsible for
organizing the Growing Your Business workshop held on
campus the day before.
The college added two Hispanic honorees to the
Diversity Clock Tower. A celebration was held on
campus to honor them.
A diversity component was added to the curriculum of
the Leadership Development Program (LDP) course.
