Dear Junior Squasher,
Buffalo in January? What could be better! Ice Sculptures in Delaware Park; the Ice
Bridge in Niagara Falls and The Buffalo Tennis and Squash International Junior
Squash Championships. The Tournament Committee has been hard at work in
preparation for the fourth annual “Championships” and we’re ready for you. The
question is, “Are you ready for Buffalo?”
Let us give you the details. Play will begin on Friday January 23rd and continues through
to Sunday afternoon, January 25th. You will be guaranteed three matches. You will
enjoy a snack on Friday night, continental breakfast, lunch and dinner (pizza and those
famous chicken wings) on Saturday and continental breakfast on Sunday. You are
invited to a Saturday evening Bowling Party at the beautiful Saturn Club. You will
receive a tournament T-shirt.
Along with all of the above, you will be reacquainted with Junior squash players from
Buffalo, Rochester and Cleveland etc, as well as our good Canadian friends!
The competition promises to be keen, the action fast and furious. Sounds like a great
weekend doesn’t it? All we need you to do is fill out the attached entry form and return it
to The Buffalo Tennis & Squash Club (please note the entry deadline is Friday January
16th, 2004). You’ll be part of what promises to be a fantastic weekend of squash and
entertainment.
