2016-2017 TEACHER APPLICATION INFORMATION
Applications due March 2, 2016—multiple parts will require planning ahead.
Part 1: IF YOU WISH TO EARN GRADUATE CREDIT FOR THE LWP SUMMER INSTITUTE,
complete online scholarship application, www.louisville.edu/edu (Choose financial aid
and then choose online scholarship application.) If you are not currently attending UofL,
you will also need to complete an application for Graduate School (also available at
www.louisville.edu.).
This deadline is generally March 1 each spring, but watch for changes. Contact Tammy
Albers, tammy.albers@louisville.edu for assistance. IMPORTANT NOTE: It is required
to submit a FAFSA as part of this process.
Part 2: Complete paper application (may be mailed, emailed or scanned/faxed) to Jean Wolph,
CEHD 105, 1905 S. 1st Street, UofL, Louisville, KY 40292, jean.wolph@louisville.edu; 502852-4634.
Part 3: Have your principal or supervisor complete the recommendation form and submit
separately to Jean Wolph (see above).
After submitting this application, you will receive an emailed acknowledgement. If you do not hear,
please email linda.mcfadin@louisville.edu. You will also receive an interview appointment,
scheduled for late March. Please make sure you can commit fully to the LWP Summer Institute
experience:

Apr. 15-17, 2016: Required “Boot Camp” Orientation Weekend, Rough River State
Resort Park

May 2016: Coaching appointments (TBA)

June 13-July 1, 2016: Summer Institute, 8 am—3:30 pm daily, + 1 evening potluck

2 LWP Mini-Conferences (September and January)

2 KWP State Conferences (September and February)

5 Saturday Sessions during the 2016-17 school year

Summer 2017 Retreat (tba by group)

