Air Hockey Rules








Two out of three games will be played to determine a winner of the match. The winner
will advance to the next round. Current LSUS students, faculty, or staff members are
eligible to play, and must present his/her current ID to the tournament director.
The game will begin with a coin toss. The winner of the coin toss will begin the game
with the puck.
Players must switch sides after each game.
The player scored on receives the puck.
The first player to have 7 points wins the game.
Players may not “top” the puck.
If the puck is in the goal and tilted in, a point is scored. If the puck is in the goal but has
not broken the plane, the player may work it out of the goal using legal moves.
A player may only hold the puck for 7 seconds.
