Graduate Studies Committee (8 members; 5 voting members) The committee addresses issues related to graduate programs offered by the Department. Committee members interview and recommend each applicant for a doctoral program. The committee reviews applicants seeking probationary admission to the MAE program. The committee is responsible for taking a primary role in defining the criteria for appointment and reappointment of its graduate faculty. The committee assists the department Chair in completing reports related to graduate programs. The committee is composed of 4 elected tenure track graduate faculty members and the Director of Doctoral Programs (voting members), the Graduate Advisor, and two graduate student representatives. Elected members serve three-year terms. A rotation system for the committee has been established.
