PERSONAL STATEMENT – S-STEMS PROGRAM
On a separate sheet of paper, concisely explain your academic and professional goals.
Indicate what you hope to accomplish through participation in this program and how the
scholarship will assist you in your long-term goals. Write in the first person (use “I”).
Your personal statement will weigh heavily in your selection to participate in this
scholarship program.
Paper specifications: Use the front side of a single 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. Paper is
to be typeset and single-spaced. Please use a 12-point font.

deadline of Friday, January 31, 2014.
