It is my hope that University of Missouri Extension programs conducted in Greene County have
had a positive impact on your life, family, farm or business. We are increasingly being asked by
legislators and Commissioners about the impact of our programs. When we conduct meetings
we always get evaluations but in Greene County we lack testimonials from clients.
I know it can be daunting to sit down to write a testimonial, so I came up with a list of questions
to help the process along (attached). This form is also online at
http://extension.missouri.edu/greene (under the budget concerns tab) in Microsoft Word which
will allow you to type in your answers and email them to me if you would prefer that method.
Or, feel free to use the attached form to type or write out your answers and return them to me by
mail. If you'll send me your answers, I'll edit them into a testimonial format and send it back for
your approval before I use it.
Our County Council members have requested that I gather testimonials and use them as impact
stories shared with the news media, in our annual report or Reaching Out Report, and in reports
to Commissioners. Your assistance will be appreciated and, I hope, will contribute to getting our
budget restored in Greene County and also giving us a better understanding of which programs
are having a positive impact on this community.

who return a testimonial form will receive one voucher for a free soil test (worth $20). Due
to budget demands we are limiting this to 15 testimonies per year.
