The performance measurement of 2012-2016 Strategic Plan
is being made through the performance programs prepared
annually depending on the plan. Monitoring and evaluation of
performance tables on spending units in which performance
objectives, indicators, budgets and activities are defined, are
being made in the middle and end of the year, and then the
success level of the annual performance program and also,
the success rate of the plan as the implementation period are
being identified.

In addition, the activity reports are being determined and
evaluated annually by each spending unit and after that the
Activity Report of whole Institution is being prepared by
combining each activity report in line with Strategic Plan.

Mission : Producing and disseminating statistics which are
qualified, timely, reliable, objective and consistent with the
international standards respond to the requirements and
priorities of national and international users, and to provide

understood that TurkStat gives priority to internationals
cooperation and carries out studies in order to improve
relations and cooperation with national statistical offices and
international organizations.

Technical support programs are provided including consulting
services and training activities in cooperation with
international organizations. The institution aims the effective
promotion and transfer of information in the abroad by
applying technical assistance programs and statistical
cooperation projects for developing countries or country
groups.

TurkStat conducts the integration works to the European
Union legislation in the field of statistics and the coordination
studies regarding the fulfillment of closing criteria for

Statistical cooperation programs and projects funded by
international organizations, primarily EU are managed and
