4th Grade*
Students will learn about beat, rhythm, pitch, melody,
meter signatures as well as correct singing technique
through the use of American patriotic, folk music and
classics. Students will present their annual Veterans Day
Concert in November. All parent information regarding this
concert will be sent home in Thursday folders and posted on
my web page. Thank you for whatever assistance you can
offer, parent help is desperately needed during this concert.
Students will also reinforce their understanding of the
basic elements of music through a variety of music from
worldwide cultures and rhythm instruments. Students will
continue learning to read music with the use of recorders, a
small wind instrument. All parent information regarding
recorders will be sent home and posted on my web page in
January.
