separate RFQ process.

Please let me know if we can get the electronic version of the floor plans. If you’re able to please

Q.3:
In the past some of the RCMP projects were restricted to NMSO master standing offer products.
Please confirm if we’re okay in quoting our alternate product lines. Brochures, samples, pictures
etc. will be supplied with the RFP.

This is not a Request For Proposals (RFP) this is a Request For Quotations (RFQ).
Product or service specifications herein are intended solely to clearly describe type and
quality and not to be restrictive. Trade reference specifications describe the type of
product thus far found to best meet the City’s functional requirements and provide the
most economical use life under agency use situations. So as not to misrepresent the
requirements herein, BRAND NAMES other that those specified will therefore be
considered on the basis of whether at least equal in quality and performance. By
submitting a Quotation, the Contractor expressly warrants product quoted as at least equal
in quality and performance.
The City’s acceptance of a product quoted as an “equal” is conditioned on the City’s
inspection and testing. Any Quotation containing a brand that is not of equal quality,
performance or use specified should be represented as an “alternate” and not as an
“equal”; failure to do so may be sufficient reason to consider the Quotation as nonresponsive. The City will be the sole judge as whether a product is “equal” in quality, and
performance.
