The above-named student, having entered the M.A./Ph.D. (circle one) program in
Geography at The University of Texas without a background of at least 12 semester
hours, or the equivalent thereof, in upper division undergraduate geography, agrees to
do the following to acquire the background considered necessary by the department.
Whether formal coursework or other work, none of this work will be counted as part of
the student’s graduate program. Courses must be passed with a grade of CR or better,
and other work must be judged satisfactory by supervising faculty or the Graduate
Adviser.
The work to be undertaken for remedial purposes are listed below:
