o Education has to happen across campus
o Ideas can be sent to Dr. Sheila.
 finding better solutions instead of just picking on just one word, words such as
human, person.
 SAB should figure out ways and possibly work with the Q center to learn
about words used.
o Gender language isn’t the problem, we should acknowledge gender because it exist,
we should ask for pronouns of the person to be respectful of individual language,
because people are attached to that language

 must relocate as part of the 520 highway project.

Police Chief, ASUW Community Relations, Finance that looked at 17
different sites
 Narrowed down to four sites, two one west, and two right on 45th.
 the preferred site given two ways to exist their facility is across from

personally voiced/favored north campus, each person in committee
could choose a location

o Possible opportunity to work with the police, to improve relationships.
o history of racial profiling, question if it is the best idea to have the UWPD next to the
ECC might increase racial profiling.
o question of where crime happens the most, and if that was a factor in the decision
o we need to do as much as possible right now
o Decision has not been made at the moment, been consulting with other groups
