The University of Sheffields department of Sociological Studies invites Year 12 and 13 pupils to join
them for a taster day.
Try being a university student for the day – come and find out more about the study and research of
Sociological Studies at the University of Sheffield'.
You will:
 Experience a lecture and seminars from lecturers on topics such as crime and everyday life
 Get to speak to current students and hear about their experiences studying sociology
 Have a guided tour of university
 Have free lunch at the University
This event is FREE to attend.
Closing date for applications is Wednesday 19th November 2014.
