Jason B. McCammon
Experience
Jason is a registered patent attorney practicing in the Technology and Intellectual
Property group in the Salt Lake City office. His practice focuses on all aspects of
patent strategy and client counseling, including U.S. and foreign patent preparation
and prosecution in a wide variety of technology areas, including medical and
mechanical devices. In-person and telephonic interviews with examiners at the U.S.
Patent and Trademark Office are integral to Jason's practice.
Jason also has experience analyzing and drafting written opinions regarding freedom
to operate, patentability, validity and infringement. Jason has conducted detailed due
diligence analyses of patent portfolios covering a wide range of technologies in
connection with corporate transactions, stock offerings, and other aspects of client

His practice also includes post-grant patent proceedings. Jason has been involved in
