(2) Affordable for students. (2) Encourage better communication within the College among administration, faculty and staff. Student Instructor ratio limited to 8 or less in the acute care/hospital setting. Ensure quality of hiring and develop a culture that uses all resources to provide quality and affordability to students. Create a student centered environment. Get a football team and more affiliation with Florida State University Increase recruiting in high schools to attract students with higher GPA's to enroll in the ATC. Contribute whereas the kids who cannot afford it to get full grants/scholarships Partner with the school districts in providing high quality professional development in implementing common core, paperless high tech classrooms, and flipped instruction utilizing integrated curriculum at the elementary level. *Total Respondents: 19 Community Survey Results Suggestions Expand online classes for certificate programs such as nursing, allowing course study at home and leaving only the practical to be completed at end of course. Have more course work online. Remain competitive with salary structure. The academic and business partnership needs to be continued and expanded as we can. Student housing would be a great option especially if Florida Pre Paid program changed its rules to allow 2-year colleges to qualify to receive benefits Be sure DSC attempts to keep up with technology as it applies to courses and relevance to the workforce. A positive image of DSC in the community is the foundation upon which all else flows including strong student recruitment, legislative funding, and generous donors. Our best marketing tools for this are our faculty and students. DSC needs to become more creative in showcasing the talent and the success of our students and faculty to the community.
