About the GIB
 GIB was founded in Berlin in 1990. The consultancy activities of GIB in the area of
innovation and industrial research are based on close co-operation of GIB academic
director Prof. Dr. H.-J. Ewers (actual President of the Technical University in Berlin)
and managing director Dr. C. Becker and have been expanded with a technologyengineering branch.
 The association has long experience of consultancy in the areas of empirical
technology and innovation research, in (regional) economic aiding (promotion), in
labour market and in economic development policy.
GIB’s team of consultants is interdisciplinary. Economists and engineers work
closely together.
About the GIB
GIB keeps up extensive contacts with scientists of different disciplines working on
international areas and can operate in complex consultancy projects each in cooperation with well-established experts.
GIB’s consultancy offers are of service for public contractors (for ex. by the Federal
Ministry for Research or by Institutes for Economic Aiding (promotion) as well as by
industry and service (sector).
