Lesson Outline


Organize students into groups of 3-4
Handout group assignment (Fraction and decimal problems)
Introduce students to IPad app-My Script Calculator
Students conduct assignment without use of calculator first and
confirm answers with “My Script Calculator”
Lastly, each group develops 5 fraction problems for another
group to solve without use of calculator
Assess student learning by sharing group results and make
corrections as necessary
