John A. Anderson
Experience
John Anderson is a partner of the firm's Trial practice group. His practice focuses upon
products liability litigation, with emphasis on drug and medical device litigation, as
well as toxic tort and commercial litigation. John has served on national trial and
discovery teams for several major pharmaceutical and medical device clients,
including GlaxoSmithKline in Paxil® and PPA litigation, Johnson & Johnson and Janssen
Pharmaceutica in Propulsid® litigation, Ortho-McNeil in Ortho-Evra® litigation and,
most recently, DePuy Synthes in ASR XL and Pinnacle hip implant litigation. John has
also defended pharmaceutical manufacturers in state Medicaid fraud cases. He has
tried cases in state and federal courts in California, Nevada, Utah and Pennsylvania. In
addition to his trial practice, John has appeared before state appellate courts in
California and Utah, and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth
Circuit.
