Edward J. Reeves Experience Ed Reeves is a partner of the firm based in the Portland office. Since 1984, Ed's practice has focused on counseling employers, educating management in all areas of labor and employment law and advising private colleges and universities on all aspects of education law. He also offers to serve as a neutral mediator and arbitrator. Before joining Stoel Rives, Ed was a law clerk for Chief Justice Edwin J. Peterson of the Oregon Supreme Court (1983-1984), a legal intern at Harvard Community Health Plan in Boston (1982-1983) and a high school English teacher for the Weymouth Public Schools in Weymouth, Massachusetts (1978-1980).
