The addition of a co-chair, and the continued support Streamline the career fair process Job Services 3b of our Career Fair Advisory Committee helps us to ensure an efficient and successful event for our students and community. We continue to provide workshops both in classrooms and in the Career Center on all employment-related topics. We will have a series of workshops during the fair to assist students with resumes, interviewing, and job search. This program was very successful. During the Fall semester we made contact with about 650 students in about 15 hours. 10 Professors took advantage of this service. We covered 18 class sections. Additional help is needed to meet the increased demand for Career Center resources. We would like to provide students with a complete collection of books that address career options for every major. Certain reference books are dated and need to be updated every year. The annual California Career Development Conference is the most important staff development function for Career Center staff. The Conference provides networking, exposure to new Career Planning resources, and workshops on a variety of Career-related topics.
